Dare to Lead™ is an empirically based courage building program designed by the legendary author and researcher Dr. Brené Brown. As a certified Dare to Lead Facilitator, Cheryl guides teams through Brene’s latest research that reveals courage is a collection of four skill sets that are teachable, measurable, and observable.
Leaders develop an understanding of the behaviors that characterize daring vs. armored leadership; dispel myths surrounding vulnerability; examine how shame shows up in the workplace; explore common barriers to empathy; skill up to have tough feedback conversations; and explore ways to lead in the face of failure, setbacks and/or disappointment.

The most significant finding from Brené’s latest research is that courage is a collection of four skill sets that are teachable, measurable, and observable.
The Dare to Lead™ program focuses on developing these courage building skills through workshops, trainings, and coaching to help individuals, teams, and organizations move from armored leadership to daring leadership. Participants who complete the full Dare to Lead™ program receive a certificate of completion and permission to place the Dare to Lead Trained badge on their LinkedIn accounts.
